Now that we know to avoid TMI (asking for Too Much Information -- from video 2), what other mistakes do we need to watch out for?
Mistake #2 has to do with the way we interact with our first-time guests. Is it an assembly line type of approach as in checking off boxes on a form and moving on to the next person? Or is it a more personal encounter, sort of like a âfirst dateâ in which you want to engage and connect -- in a non-sleazy manner of course. Â
Then thereâs Mistake #3 -- for whom was this process created? Did we build a process that catered to our church or our guests? Did we think of our comfort or theirs?
