Text Prompts
We’re always seeking time-saving conveniences to simplify communications in PastorsLine. Here’s a handy one connected to both group and individual text messages.
GROUP MESSAGE
When composing a group message, you’ll notice a default merge field is automatically suggested in the message box – “Hi [First Name]”.

INDIVIDUAL MESSAGE
For individual texts, a personalized prompt like “Hi Anne” appears based on the recipient’s first name.
Time saver individual message
To effortlessly insert the personalized prompt, simply press the Tab key on your keyboard. This instantly populates the message line, eliminating the need to manually type a salutation. The Send button also activates immediately, streamlining the process.
Leveraging prompts cuts down message composition time. You skip directly to your unique, custom content instead of laboriously inputting generic greetings and closings.
