Keeping your Groups Synced
We’re excited to announce an improved All Groups view for easily managing all your PastorsLine and external app groups in one place!
With more groups comes more relevant communication opportunities. This new centralized hub with enhanced controls streamlines organizing the groups that matter, whether manually created or synced from external tools.
We’re hoping that you have created lots of groups on PastorsLine! We are also hoping that your External Apps Groups are included in our automatic syncing. Of course, the more groups you have, the greater the chances that some of them may fall through the cracks. This was the motivation behind our improved Groups –> All Groups –> All –> View All improved view.
Why should you have more groups?
The more groups you have, the greater the chances that your people are getting messages which are relevant to their needs…instead of a lot of general chat. In this time of TMI (too much information), ‘relevant messages only’ is a key component of a successful digital strategy.
What will you see in this improved view?
In this view are two tabs: PastorsLine Groups and External Apps Groups. Click on one of the tabs to see ALL your groups in that category.
PASTORSLINE GROUPS
You can add a new group (yellow 1 in image below); click on the More menu for further actions (yellow 2 in image below); use multi-select for global actions (yellow 3 in image below); and search for groups (yellow 4 in image below).

EXTERNAL APPS GROUPS
These are integration groups which have not yet been turned on for automatic syncing. If desired, you can click on SYNC NOW to update your group(s) manually. Then, you can go to your Integrations page to turn them on for automatic syncing.
You can also add a new group (yellow 1 in image below); click on the More menu for further actions (yellow 2 in image below); refresh the display for the latest results (yellow 3 in image below); and search for groups (yellow 4 in image below).
