Group Matching logic

We’re pleased to share an update that reduces duplicate groups when messaging the same people repeatedly.

If you craft a message addressed to a set of recipients matching an existing group, PastorsLine now automatically opens that group instead of generating a redundant one. So messaging established contacts defaults to existing conversations, cutting clutter.

The only exception is mixing established contacts and new people not already grouped. Then we’ll create a new ad hoc group to avoid incorrectly adding participants to threads without permission.

By handling behind-the-scenes organization, this update simplifies efforts to continually engage familiar contacts. Our smart routing reduces legwork so you can build relationships without worrying about overlapping groups.
